How do I start using Drink Points?

Q: How do I see water points near me when I open the app?
A: Open the app to view a map of your current location with blue water drop icons marking nearby water points. Ensure you've allowed the app to access your location services.
Using the App Features:

Q: What happens when I press a water drop icon on the map?
A: Pressing a water drop icon displays a small picture with a title of the water point. Tap the picture for an enlarged view.
Q: How can I contribute a new water point?
A: Tap the "+" icon to take a photo of a new water point. After taking the photo, press "use photo" to upload it, and then you can add a title or leave it blank.
Q: What if I want to upload a photo without a title?
A: You can leave the title blank. If no title is provided, you'll get an option to remove the point completely, or keep the photo without a title.
Managing Water Points:

Q: Can I delete or edit any water point?
A: Yes, all users can edit or delete any water point if they are within 20 meters of it. Just upload a new photo for the location, and you can update or remove the existing point.
Q: What happens to points when someone uploads a new photo nearby?
A: If a new photo is uploaded within 20 meters of an existing point, the older point's location and title are replaced with the new photo and title provided.
Navigation and Search:

Q: How do I find water points in a different area or filter them?
A: Press the book icon to view a list of points in the current region, which you can filter by title. This list updates automatically as new points are added or if you move to a different region.
Q: How can I return the map to my current location?
A: Tap the location button in the middle bottom, to recenter the map on your current location.
Q: What if I want to navigate to a specific water point?
A: After selecting a water point, use the antenna icon to choose navigation via Google Maps or Apple Maps. If Google Maps isn't installed, it will open in your browser.
Q: How do I search for water points in a specific location?
A: Use the magnifying glass icon to search for a location. Selecting it will change the region on the map to show available water points in that area.
#### Privacy and Access
Q: Do I need an account to use Drink Points?
A: No, there are no accounts required. All uploaded photos and water points are available to all users.
